Computer-Aided Breast Reconstructive Surgery

Objective

The development of a computer-aided system for reconstructive surgery planning, which will consist of:

(a) A patient assistant module (PAM) that will allow the patient to communicate to the surgeon her preferences

(b) A surgeon assistant module (SAM) that will allow a surgeon to visualize and predict, prior to surgery, the breast shape.
