Welcome to the research section of my homepage !!!!! Research is a mysterious world hypothetically visualized as a three-dimensional graphical terrian consisting of an astoundignly vast number of deep inverted gaussians. As soon as you fight your way out of one, you invariably fall into another in no time !!!! My research interests broadly encompass the areas of Computer Vision, Computer Graphics, Geometric Modeling and Artificial Intelligence. My first ventures into these areas date back to the Final year of my undergraduate, where in i worked on the developement of a Video surveillance System under the guidance of Prof. Kumar Eswaran. After which i interned for a summer at his firm and conceived an opportunity to work on other commercial projects in the same domain. Later, i joined the graduate school of Computer Science at University of Houston, since when i started working in the Computational Biomedicine Lab with Prof. Ioannis A. Kakadiaris on the topic of Computer Aided Breast Reconstructive Surgery which in a wider sence overlaps with the domains of Computer Graphics, Computer Vision, Geometric Modeling and Computational Biomechanics.
