Our program is designed to infuse qualified undergraduates with enthusiasm toward both graduate level education and a career in research. Participants will make important contributions to the department's ongoing research efforts.

In cooperation with several other CISE REU Sites, we observe a priority deadline of March 1, 2013 and a common application deadline of April 1, 2013 Evaluation will start on March 1. Applicants will be notified by May 1, 2013 about their status (accepted, not accepted, or pending). Once an applicant has been accepted to the program, a response from the applicant, either accepting or declining, must be received within two weeks of the date of the offer.

Students selected for participation in this program will receive a stipend of $5,000. Students will receive room and board in an on-campus university dormitory. In addition, students will receive free GRE preparation classes.
